Engine Specifications
A 2.4 liter inline 4 cylinder is standard on LX – S, EX and EX – L. A more power pumping 3.5 liter V6 engine comes in EX – L V6. The 2.4 liter engine cranks 190 hp @ 7000 rpm of horsepower and 162 ft-lbs. @ 4400 rpm of torque. The higher V6 generates a commendable 271 hp @ 6200 rpm of horsepower and 254 ft-lbs. @ 5000 rpm of torque. The V6 can do a 0 – 60 mph in 7.5 seconds.
Drivetrain Offerings
All the trims come in front wheel drive and except EX – L V6, all of them have a 5 – speed automatic gearbox mated to their engine. The V6 engine gets a 5 – speed automatic transmission.

The top three trims offer excellent gas economy with 21 mpg on city roads and much higher 33 mpg on highways. EX – L V6 too offers an appreciable 19 mpg within city limits and 28 mpg on highways.
