Honda Accord Coupe 2011

Honda Accord has been one of the best selling models of the Japanese auto maker; Honda Accord Coupe 2011 edition should not be any different. Engine of the latest generation Accord has been revised, resulting in enhanced performance and gas economy.

Trims

The Coupe comes in three trim levels - LX-S, EX and EX – L.

Honda Accord Coupe 2011 Engine Specs

All the three trims get a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine which can produce a horsepower of 190 hp @ 7000 rpm and can generate a torque of 162 ft-lbs. @ 4400 rpm.

EX-L also gets an option of a 3.5 liter V6 engine which can pump a higher horsepower of 271 hp @ 6000 rpm and torque of 251 ft-lbs. @ 5000 rpm.

Interior Features

We see a variety of optional modern features available like iPod interface, shift paddles and a rear-view camera.

Under the roof, it is quite roomy and the driver gets excellent visibility from the driving position. Also, you get to see a repositioned climate control panel for ease of access.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy gets marginally boosted this year with its city limits mileage of 22 mpg and highway mileage of 33 mpg.

The Good

Looking at the brighter side, against all odds, Accord has always done good for Honda and will hopefully continue doing so.

Accord has a reputation of having great resale value, but Honda Accord Coupe 2011 does have downsides as well.

The Bad

The interior quality, though well equipped, is ordinary and the seats are not the most comfortable ones. We also hear some annoying road side noise.

Pricing

We do see some hike in price tag with its entry model LX-S tagged at an MSRP of $22,780 and the top level EX-L V6 getting a tag of $29,730.
